I decided to share my summer trip to Spain and Portugal with you city by city, region by region... Madrid was our first stop. I was impressed because we managed to see all interesting tourist attractions in only one day and by foot! How great is that? So, if you don't have a lot of time and want to visit Madrid just go for it because everything important to see is very near and there are a lot of cheap hostels you can find right at the Plaza Puerta del Sol! We stayed at Hostal A Nuestra Senora de La Paloma that was very cheap, but very confortable at the same time! Rooms are not as seen on the pictures at, but they are very similar + you get candy on your bed as welcome, towels, bathroom is small, but private and they have free wi-fi too. All in all a very nice hostel!

I decided to be as comfortable as I could since it was soo hot that at one point we had to stop and rest and drink a big cold beer :) yeah, I love beer :)
